    Education, employment and volunteer opportunities:

    o    All roles, both employed and volunteer, within the facility will be offered first to residents of the community

    o   Shuttles will be available several times daily to link residents to transit, work, programs, and amenities within the city

    o   Conduct educational seminars to our residents, families of our residents, our employees, and members of the broader area. Eg: work readiness, safe living, cooking classes, guest lecturers on specialized topics of interest, etc

    o   Seeking provincial approval to be a provider of PDD programming to both our neurodiverse residents and members of the broader community 

    o   24 support worker care for residents as approved by PDD

    o    Encouraging interaction between senior residents and ASD residents allows for purposeful living, benefiting both populations
